This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) governs participation in all programs, services, events, facilities, websites, and digital systems operated by Unified Jiu Jitsu (“Unified,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By enrolling, registering, attending, signing any Unified form, or using Unified systems, you agree to the terms below in addition to all applicable waivers, event rules, and program-specific agreements.

SERVICES PROVIDED

Unified Jiu Jitsu provides, but is not limited to:

Martial arts instruction and training

Youth, adult, homeschool, and specialty programs

Events, tournaments, camps, and clinics

Scholarship and volunteer programs

Digital registration, scheduling, and communication systems

Participation in all services is voluntary.

MEMBERSHIP & PROGRAM ACCESS

Memberships and program access are subject to eligibility, capacity, and availability

Class schedules, instructors, and formats may change

Unified reserves the right to modify or discontinue programs at any time

PAYMENTS, FEES & REFUNDS

Fees are due as agreed at the time of registration or billing

Processing fees are non-refundable

Event registrations, camps, clinics, and special programs are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing

Membership refunds (if applicable) are governed by the Membership Agreement

Event refunds (if any) are governed by Event Registration and Event Waiver terms

CANCELLATION & PAUSE POLICY

Memberships may be canceled or paused with notice

Notice must be provided during business hours (Monday–Friday)

Requests submitted outside business hours are processed on the next business day

CODE OF CONDUCT

All members, participants, parents, and guests agree to:

Follow instructor and staff direction

Act respectfully toward others

Use encouraging language only

Refrain from sideline coaching unless permitted

Care for Unified mats, equipment, and property

Unified may suspend or terminate access without refund for violations.

UNIFORMS & ATTIRE

Unified does not require mandatory uniforms

Proper, clean, safe athletic attire is required

Clothing must be appropriate for grappling activities

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & WAIVERS

Participation in martial arts involves inherent risk.

All participants must sign the applicable General Waiver, Event Waiver, or Program-Specific Waiver before participation.

This Service Agreement does not replace, override, or limit any waiver or release of liability.

COMMUNICATION CONSENT

Unified may communicate via:

Email

Text message

Phone calls

Communications may include:

Scheduling updates

Safety notices

Billing or account information

Program-related messages

Members may opt out of non-essential promotional communications, but not required service or safety messages.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Unified branding, logos, curriculum, content, and materials remain the exclusive property of Unified Jiu Jitsu and may not be reproduced without permission.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Unified is not responsible for:

Lost or stolen personal items

Injuries outside the scope of signed waivers

Actions of third-party venues, vendors, or partners

GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
